He was a skilled and gifted songwriter from the same era that gave us John Sebastian, Ry Cooder, and Jackson Browne. His first hit in the mid '70s was "Lonely Boy" followed by "Thank You For Being A Friend" which became the theme song for television's "Golden Girls" series.

I saw him with Linda Rondstadt at the Universal Amphitheater.

He's one of those guitarists who has been heard so many times,but most people never knew his name...a very talented guy.
