I just saw The Melvins play in Boston. I can't even say something like "best concert I've ever seen" or anything to that effect; It was just its own thing. There's nothing like it. It was absolutely f***ing amazing.

The drumming was ridiculous. It didn't even make sense that they were able to do what they did (Melvins have 2 drummers). Honestly, if I didn't see the band playing right in front of me I would have thought that they were playing pre-recorded drum tacks, with a second part overdubbed. The timing was LITERALLY perfect. Example: both hi-hats going in PERFECT unison for nearly 12 minutes, not losing time once, hitting at exactly the same time every time.


Amazing.
