My eldest daughter is the town cop/enforcement officer of Wabush Lab. and now my youngest daughter has been recommended for the position of supervisor of security/emergency response of the mine there.Although she's the junior employee there, the current supervisor who is leaving has recommended that she be fast tracked for the job as she's the only one there that he feels could stand up to bullturd and anyone who tries to get away with anything.
She used to be so timid and mild mannered until I sat her down several times and told her that when you're in the right to stand up to the devil if you have to because if you lie down and take it people will use you as a doormat. She has impressed a lot of higher ups by standing up to some executive types who thought the were above the rules and I guess they made a note of it.I'm glad I instilled a bit of attitude in her and that her work ethic hasn't gone unnoticed. She just phoned me and told me,I hope I'm not jinxing it but-I'm so damn proud of her I could just dump.

My friend, I am so very happy for you! Congrats to you as a parent for raising such hard working kids! You should be very proud of them and also satisfied and proud of what you have done as a father! Bravo my friend!

+1...I was going to say basically the same thing. Sounds like you definitely did something right as a father.

Thanks for the well wishes folks. It's all dependant on her boss getting the job that he applied for but he apparently has a great chance of getting it.BTW Dump means the same here as it does in Scotland as most people in Newfoundland are of British,Scottish or Irish ancestry.
