Hi everyone who created such guitars as Fender strat and Fender tele and their modification Squier!
I live in russia play in its group "Transit". (www.tranzit.ucoz.ru) In my arsenal guitar Squier strat production korea. But My daydream to play on truth american guitar, but in russia they cost(stand) much dearly.
The Persons who works and feeds the family simply can not afford the branded instrument. I remain only to dream of the most simple and standard instrument Fender Strat or Fender Tele, but I pleased from that that there is such guitars about which possible dream. And I very pleased for people which владеют such guitar. Enormous thank you. The Blues lives in Russia. Your friend and admirer mr.Keyman

Thanks for stopping by, Keyman! One minor thing -- I did happen to notice that you posted this exact same message in numerous forums. Please limit this type of post explicitly to the Lounge area. Thanks, and keep rockin'!

Welcome.

I was actually on the internet the other day and saw some vintage Russian electric guitars. They were pretty unique. What are some quality Russian brands for electric guitars?

My vague understanding is... fuhgeddaboudit. The CCCP state-guitars reportedly couldn't hold a candle to their counterparts from the West. From everything I've read, Russian rockers did everything they could to avoid playing the craptastic Sovietski offerings and tried to get their hands on anything from outside.

Would love to hear Keyman's opinion on this.
