What a lax play by Chara allowing Burrows to just go around him and tap the puck in...11 seconds into OT.

Looked like the Bruins, especially Thomas assumed Chara would take Burrows out....

nope.
Canucks up 2-0, and how ironic that "Bitegate" Burrows had 2 goals and a helper, including the game winning tally!

the Bruins should be embarrassed by that overtime. that was just awful.

Yep, I agree. As good as the goaltending has been, that quick one just into the OT should not have happened.

I don't think home ice has much advantage in hockey, but I'm guessing we'll
see a different game tonight. :?:

I used to think football was more physical...that 1st period was just brutal!

Go black and gold!

I'd call that a pretty good period for the Bruins.

mike, hockey''s by far the most physical game.

Yep 12B - last night's game was the *most* physical of the series yet.
Boston can win *if* they play with the fire and energy they played with last night. That said, Vancouver were just flat last night - although both teams had a good 1st period (excluding the hit on Horton).

Bad break for the 'Nucks on the first B's goal with the broken stick and it was all downhill from there. They started the 3rd in just abysmal form - like nobody wanted the puck and when they had it, they would screw up. Bad game for Vancouver. I would not expect them to have another stinker like that. Doesn't mean Boston can't beat them though.

Good synopsis Mike. I'm glad for Boston, (and the series). It helps balance it out which makes for a more exciting game next time. For the most part, they are playing cleanly, although punishing the *&% out of each other!

Go Canucks!!

It's too bad that Horton is out of the rest of the series though. Man, his head came
down on that ice like a jackhammer! Maybe it will keep the other guys fired up as in
the 2nd period last night though?
