Hope they draft Nugent-Hopkins as well, great playmaker, would be awesome to have him play with Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle.

I agree entirely. What an ingredient he would make for the Oilers! Hall and Eberle are only going to get better.

Edmonton has a bright future.

Edmonton has a bright future.

Also have a very good young goalie that is possibly ready to step into a starting role next year in Devan Dubnyk. The future looks bright in Edmonton! :D

Roy and Bunz will both probably be better than Dubey.

Either of Nugent-Hopkins, Couturier or Jonathan Huberdeau would be welcome centers.

With the #19 pick we got from LA I would love to see them pick Jamie Oleksiak for some help on the blue line. 18 years old, 6'7" and 245 lbs. good skater and passer, bit of a mean streak. Players like him don't come around too often.

I loved hockey, played until my time was taken up with band practice. When the Stanley Cup winning Chicago Blackhawks team was decimated in the off season by management/ownership I stopped watching.

What with them being at the bottom of the league for several years running they have no place to go but up... and I say that as a loving Oilers fan.

Nevin's in neutral territory, you can see the saddledome from my house!!!

GO_ME: Dubs took great strides, I'd love to see what he can do with some defense in front of him

Roy has the tools, he needs desperately to work on his rebound control, something Devan really got a handle on over the coarse of this year. (Too bad he never got credit for that goal, but I think it really did bounce off the side of the net, and not him!)

Managing my team's young future superstar Taylor Hall, (among others.)

Bobby transformed the game. The Bruins need him to go tear a strip off the team, for their slack play.

I'll grant you that. They actually had over 60 points this year. Last year they only had 50. Not exactly 115 though.....

same point total as last year, but actually one less win but OT losses for the loser points to make it up.

GO_ME Although the Oil are weak defensively, there is more defensive talent in the system than Centers. I also think they can draft younger centers and have their enthusiasm carry them a bit, but their D is in serious need of veteran help. Experience is needed a bit more on D, as well it is virtually impossible to trade for a top center, but there are enough talented D-men that the team could more readily bolster the back end through a trade.

Plus, I am much less sold on Larsson than the other top ranked prospects.

..and no comments about the bite?
There was some face washing going on between Bergeron and Burrows, after a whistle, 12B. Apparently Burrows bit Bergeron on the finger. No suspension resulted. Pretty bush league move though.

At any rate, hard to beat a Saturday night NHL Stanley Cup Final game!
I predict a B's win. :)

My take:

Bergeron was face washing Burrows (one of my favorite moves in the scrum back when I played, even in rec league  ) but he jammed his fingers into his mouth. Gonna assume accidentally, but Burrows didn't lunge or anything. So Burrows bit him. (had to have been a hard bite too, apparently he drew blood through a hockey glove!!)

Fact is, the rule leaves no debate for circumstance but the league took the easy way out (yet again,) and claims you couldn't see the bite clearly, when they should have said, if you stick a finger in someone's mouth expect to get bit.

the play in question:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxmZWIX0278

By the rules probably should have been a game suspension, but probably considered too stupid of an incident all around, so they jammed out on it.

vancouver gets almost as favourable refereeing as detroit.
