As predicted, the concert was superb! If i'm being totally honest i felt the gig i saw last year at Wembley Arena was probably slightly better than last night, however that's being really really picky!!

Clapton is totally in control of the guitar, whatever solo he plays he normally plays in about three or four different positions on the fretboard and ties all the notes in perfectly, it all just seems so easy!!! He truly is a master in his craft. Mr Winwood is known for his skill on the keys but he's no slouch on the guitar either, mainly backing up clapton but also taking his turn on the solos. I felt Winwoods best solo was in the encore of Dear Mr Fantasy.

All in all a great night, I had hoped to buy a poster and stick it in a frame for my music room/study, however, the posters were marketed as 'limited edition prints' and selling for £50.00! I will be checking out Youtube today to see what footage of the gig has been uploaded.

Claptons tour continues (without Winwood) across europe i think and then onto South America, if you can get to one of the gigs, it'll be well worth the money. After all, how long will he continue to tour? See him while you can.

I hope they play lots of Blind Faith for you ... and hopefully it is a nice long set. Let us know afterward.
