Hoping for a great holiday for all, especially for those who are out there right now. For all the families who have lost a loved one our thanks and admiration go out to them.

Thanks Mike and the even better news is i get tommorow off as well.

The bad news is the place i work at has announced 25% of the staff are losing their jobs!
About 1500 people.

Mind you we are losing approx £20 million (yeah 20 million pounds) a month.

Happy holiday everyone.

Happy Memorial Day to all my friends south of the border-don't forget who this day is for and remember the sacrifices they made for us all.A question for my friends across the pond:Is Queen Victoria's Birthday celebrated in England as faithfully as it is in Canada-especially Newfoundland and Labrador? We have a huge pro Monarchy sentiment here,I guess that stems from being a British Colony from 1583 'til 1949.

Hi guitslinger hope your well m8ty

As far as i am aware (possibly a contradiction) doh Q Victorias birthday is not celebrated in the UK.

The present queen will have been on the throne 60 years in 2012 and theres mention of an extra bank holiday to commemorate this fact.

1952 came to the throne crowned in 53
