Can I just point out thet, as per usual, the only thing Bank Holidayish about this Bank Holiday in Scotland is......the banks are closed!!! Englandshire get the 'real' holidays.....................

The bad news is the place i work at has announced 25% of the staff are losing their jobs!
About 1500 people.

Mind you we are losing approx £20 million (yeah 20 million pounds) a month.

As far as i am aware (possibly a contradiction) doh Q Victorias birthday is not celebrated in the UK.

The present queen will have been on the throne 60 years in 2012 and theres mention of an extra bank holiday to commemorate this fact.
