Went to see Elvin Bishop and his Raisin' Hell Revue, at a local blues festival today. Fun time. He's an old road dog and he entertains without trying. They started out as a six piece band and finished as an eleven piece band. It just kept getting better as he added more people. They played Gibson guitars but used all Fender amps. A couple of very vintage looking ones included.

Still listen to the first Butterfield Blues Band album at least once every couple of weeks. Last time I saw Elvin was a few years ago and he was still playing up a storm, glad to hear he's still kickin' it.

I was lucky to see Elvin Bishop and Mike Bloomfield back in
the 60s when both were performing together with Paul
Butterfield's band. I'm sure it was a great show that you saw!
