That you really liked once but now are embarrased to admit.

I will start with BeeGees. They were much better before Disco.

I use to watch the Donny and Marie Show in the 70's. I used to think she was hot!

I can't name such a band. I've never liked anything that sucked, I've never disliked anything that was really good, and I don't give a flip for fashion, so I don't care what any current crop of hipsters have to say about it, either.

Dude, ABBA rules. Seriously. You can learn more about producing great pop music from owning a copy of "ABBA Gold" and really getting it than two years at Full Sail.

CHeck out this video of Frida from ABBA joining ultra-hyper-mega skilled vocal group The Real Group on stage to peprform an a capella version of "Dancing Queen." If you can't hear why this is awesome, then burn your guitar.

And that Falco hit killed.

Yes, if I'm honest I'm actually quite proud of my ABBA and Falco affiliations (just picked out the "Falco 3" CD from the shelf now). I tend to be more quiet about the other two.

See, that's where you lose it right there. "... for pop."

What is that supposed to mean? It's either music or it isn't. If you worry about whether it's okay to listen to because it may be in an artficial "genre" that's it's not okay to like, well, then, you're not a musician anymore. Now you're a fashionista. Might as well collect shoes instead of guitars. :D

I'd say that Dancing Queen and Hey Jude are the most perfect songs ever written.

PS Anyone got the chord structure for either or both?
