I have a Princeton amp made in 1966, and since it has no reverb I've been thinking about another small amp, until today. I read reviews of the Boss FRV-1 and had to try it. Went to the music store and hooked the Boss pedal to the clean channel of a Twin Reverb checked the sound, then plugged the guitar into the reverb channel, Tried several settings of the Boss pedal and it sounds as good or better than the Twin's reverb. It also has two settings, Mix and Dwell so you can get some really good vintage reverb sound out of it, and there is a tone control that adjusts the brightness. Took it home and hooked it up along with a Blues Driver to the little Princeton and it sounds great.
