Hey guys, so still on my digital media kick lately I went and set up a free Pandora radio account. I must say, this is my new favorite way to listen to music when I'm online just browsing. The stations I create play mostly just music I like and if I don't like one and skip it, it'll never play again on that station. Being a huge country fan, I'm listening to my 'Blake Shelton' station (I also put Merle on the list so I could get a good mix of old/new songs). I love that I have control over what plays, and they play a lot of songs by my favorite artists that I would never hear on regular radio.
Anyone else using Pandora? And if so what station that you created is your favorite?

check out jango.com also... that one lets you create stations and then fills in similar or related artists so you get a solid mix of your stuff and also some new. If you like the new stuff there is an add button and if you don't you dump them. you can adjust how often artists play. I used pandora but it doesn't work here in korea so i found jango and really like it.

Interesting Zenbone. Might check them out, but I'm pretty cool with Pandora right now. Sucks that you can't use it in Korea.

I have used Pandora in the past and liked it. I mostly use Grooveshark now.

I have heard lots of favourable comments about Pandora but for the past couple of years or so I have been subscribing to Last FM http://www.lastfm.com/ .Athough it's not free it only costs $3 a month and when you type in a favourite artist they'll play all artists in that genre or with a similar style.I've come across a lot of good groups I would've missed out on if not for that programming style.

Pandora is awesome, I have about five or so channels which I listen to frequently. I also discovered Slacker Radio, which is similar. Except instead of choosing a band you choose a genres (for example, 70's rock) and then you choose whether you want to hear the hits or deep cuts or a mix of both. It gives you a little more variety than Pandora, but honestly I listen to both.

That sounds like something I should check out. I was wishing earlier that Pandora made it a little easier to choose a broader range of music for my stations. Thanks for the heads up on that one TGS.

Pandora's great. You might want to check out http://www.wolfgangsvault.com if you like live vintage performances from Fillmore East and West. Or you're just a Geezer and like this stuff.

Not to geezer status yet, but I love music from just about every era. I feel like a geezer some mornings when I can't get my knee to work properly :?
