cape tribulation australia, right in the middle of the daintree rainforest. if you want to get back to nature, go there.

Whitehaven beach, litterally the sand is pure white and the softest in the world (fact). i think the sands a one of a kind thing, 98% pure silica i think. me and my family were only there for a couple of hours, but i'd love to camp there for a couple of nights.

Another of my favorite places in the world is the Redwood forest. Anyone that's never had a chance to walk among the oldest living things on the planet needs to experience the Redwoods. It's a spiritual experience for me to be able to reach out and touch a 2500 year old tree.

BTW...double d. This is a good topic, Got me thinking about all the beautiful places I have been lucky enough to see in my life so far.

Here is a photo from my favorite spot on earth, the family cottage/home in Bayfield WI on Lake Superior. Beautiful, huge lake and great place to go with my family.

Here is me and my daughters canoeing on Lake Superior, is that a Fender Test Drive shirt I'm wearing? Think so :)

Absolutely Mike. People that have never been to California seem to think it's all palm trees and interstates out here, but there is a lot of natural beauty to be enjoyed here; especially in Northern California.

Also, back to the OP...heading out on the boat to one of my favorite places tomorrow; Honker Bay, which is just west of the boat launch here in Pittsburg, a vast expanse of 5 foot deep water that drops down to 60 ft. on the eastern side of the bay...great fishing right along the drop off this time of year.

I love the Smoky Mountains, pretty much all of the Southern Appalachians, along with the hills and hollers in Middle Tennessee....so I guess I'm at home, but I would like to see the Rockies and Yellowstone, and some desert scenery.
