Might I add to that, it is force fed upon the public and 'popular' music is just manufactured talent now..

Gone are the days when the industry was fueled by booze, sex and drugs. I don't condone drugs in any way- but look at the good music it produced all those years ago in the 60's 70's 80's and partly the 90's

I reckon they should run a 'Battle of the Bands' and run it like the American Idol series & make them bands write their own music aswell as play covers... now that would produce talent. As long as that Cowell idiot stays out of the picture and the people behind him, it would be fine.
