Music played in tune and in time with skill, passion and conviction.

Is that a genre?

most Classic and all hard rock, all metal (well except for maybe black), all punk, all alternative, and most indie.

But I refuse to listen to country, rap/hiphop/r&b, or pop

If it can be played on a guitar, I'll play it. Just about anything before 1980 with a few exceptions.

yeah, forgot to mention to exclude the screamo in the last post..... to each his own, but how can you put up with just screaming for more than 10 minutes?

i am trying not to limit myself to genres right now. there are quite a few bands that i really like that i used to think i didn't like because of the genre.

so as long as it's good it's fair game.

typically i like grunge, alt rock, alt pop, some acoustic stuff (especially with gibson acoustics  ), rock, classic rock , southern rock, country, classic metal, hard rock.
