Just a quick question guys. I keep seeing suggestions for people to email consumer relations with a serial number for info on their specific guitar. My question is: What info do they include in the spec sheet they send you? If it just the basic spec sheet I won't waste their time, but if there's more I could learn about my guitar I'd be interested in doing so.

Tim, I think they tell you build date and what store it was shipped to also. Others can correct me if I'm wrong. There's always a first time......Mike :P

Oh ok, if that's all the extra info they'll give me I won't waste their time or mine. Thanks Mike.

The info I received was pretty basic. It didn't fully address what I was asking. I asked for more information and I never heard back.

All I got back was the basic spec sheet. I had heard that they can tell you build date and who it was shipped to like Cherokee said but I didn't get that info.

Thanks Voodoo! I was actually walking to the sales counter with a Highway One Strat I was planning on purchasing, but the black and chrome on the Tele caught my eye, and it plays so nice I coudn't put it down once I picked it up. Needless to say, I still don't have a Strat...lol. I'd never even played a Tele before that day.

I know exactly what you mean! I was going to buy a Les Paul, white with gold hardware (I'd never buy that combination now) and I saw my Tele. I too had never played one before. I played it and took her home!
