lol they are all different but since i'm a strat freak as most of you know i'm going for the strat...

p.s. why is the vg an option? isn't it a strat? i'd go with the jazzmaster, jaguar, mustang, explorer, flying v and firebird guitars and forget the vg was an option... in my personal opinion of course

For me it is the Tele. I used to play Strats all the time but once I got my hands on a Tele...forget about it! The sound the look and the feel are me!
ABS :D

I voted for the Strat because of its versatility. The Strat can do a little of everything and is not pigeonholed into one or two particular styles/genres of music.

Aside from other guitars... The most amazing guitar that I tried out and wanted it sooooo bad (but didn't have the $$$ at the time) - an Epiphone Sheraton II. There was just something magical about that guitar. I mean, it just....sang. You instantly noticed two very distinct tones when plugged in: Bridge pickup = Chuck Berry. Neck pickup = B. B. King.

There's no such thing as a "best Guitar",there may be one that's better suited for a person's particular needs but that doesn't make it best because it may be useless for the genre and style of the next person that picks it up.

but bro, they all sound so different.
that question is so loaded nobody could answer it.
see, i like all kinds of different guitars, not just fender.
the reason is that they all sound so very different, much like your list
would. to me, just my opinion, you cant have just one type of guitar, or by one manufacture. there are so many different tones that i like.
i love my fender strats, but i cant get that tele sound no matter what i do to it.
neither of those will come close to a Les Paul either ya know. but those dang SG's
have a tone of their own too. see, but all of those wont give me the
screaming tones my jacksons do or my kramers either. even still, with all that hardware
i couldnt get that acoustic guitar tone if i had a wish and a prayer. sure i could use a pedal but still its not right. you see what im saying?

agreed.....but I voted Strat because my 2010 American Deluxe is the most VERSATILE guitar i've ever owned, and the quality is just fantastic!

In this opinion, the writer who began this poll/thread...

...has not played a Mosrite Mk I or a hot jazzbox.
