The best blues jam I have been to,there was me and another guitar player,a drummer and a bass player...I had never seen those guys before or since,they didn't even know each other,they came out of Nashville and could really jam....it was just one of those things that happened and was probably the best group of musicians I had played with to not have been planned....it just worked and was great,we played one song after another for several hours like we had rehearsed it all.....hard to top that.

They lurk wherever musicians get together, normally with a case full of harps one in every key, and an instinctive understanding of the mysteries of cross harp playing..

Tune your guitars to Eb.. Stops the harpies dead in their tracks.. Why do you think Hendrix and SRV did it? :wink:

Most unikely instrument bought to a blues jam: Hammond B3 organ - 300lbs of unportability..
