I got the new American Standard Strat. It`s the best guitar I ever played and I have 2 vinatage guitars and neither one play or sound like this one.

I played one the other day and didn't like the neck, I could get used to it but I like my Mayer.

Hi,
I just received my new american standard strat yesterday (olympic white w/ maple fret board) and upon opening the case here is what I found. The body finish, neck tint/neck finish and overall quality was FLAWLESS!!! I am traditionally a tele player, but I have always wanted a strat. I did a ton of research, I was going to buy a 57 hotrod strat, but after playing it, the soft 'V' neck was to thin for me. The american standard strat has the same neck specs as my american standard tele, so I'm used to the necks. After pugging it into my 65 twin reverb and blues junior I found the playability to be SUPERB, the american made p/u's are amazing and sound AWESOME. Absolutely one of the best guitars made!! IMO, you cannot go wrong with this one. 8)
