Love it! Short, sweet and to the point…easy to set up, too!

Yeah, it's what I use with my '63 Vibroverb RI. The original footswitch wasn't with the amp when I brought it....but to be honest, I do use a BOSS ME-20 http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.php?ProductId=894.

The VVRI doesn't have a Master volume, and I dial in a little gain, and I use the rotary effect now & than.

Lately, I've been looking at the ME-25 http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.php?ProductId=1058&ParentId=46, but I don't really need amp models.

I do want to post again, that I have a brother Larry Houston that works for Roland Image but this doesn't mean anything if I didn't like the pedals (expect the employee discount  ).

I'm curious about the Blackstar pedals...I've heard some pretty complimentary things about them, but have not had the opportunity to check them out. Are they from the same manufacturer as the amplifier company?

They are indeed. In fact, my HT-Dual pedal is just the pre-amp section of their HT series amps, complete with ECC83 valve/tube.

The guys who set up Blackstar were refugees from... Marshall. Which may be why that pedal has come closest so far in the search for something to emulate my Marshall TSL through the practice rig.

Not a cheap pedal and no doubt not for everyone. But maybe worth a look-see.

Cheers - C

I have a 63RIVV, too...I bought it new in 1992. I love it but I wish there was a way to make it break up at lower volumes. If I crank it up loud enough to do that, it would make the people directly in front of the stage disintegrate.
Thus, the overdrive pedals on the BBOSD (Big Board O' Sonic Delight).
