This is one of many reasons why it is important to study the word, so you won't be deceived by false prophets. It is a shame that so many will believe something that isn't true, and even more a shame that they discount the Bible because of false claims that have nothing to do with what the Bible actually says.

Mt 24:36
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

Mt 24:23
"Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not."

Mt 24:30
"And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

In other words, no one knows when it will happen, but when it does happen everyone will know it without a doubt.
