It was a fairly normal end of the world here in the Chicagoland area. I watched a couple of episodes of the IT crowd, an invention by Moss that he dubbed the Abracada-bra was an appropriate one I thought and closed out the apocalypse with a brief view of Lady GaGa on SNL during which end of world visions danced across the TV screen, then sleep, and now here it is, another chance to save the world

I believe I was napping through the most critical point but I am still unsure if the rapture was on EST, CST, or Mountain Time - anyway you look at it I was fairly clueless as to what was happening. I saw some underwear on my neighbors clothesline but I don't think anyone was wearing them before the rapture event therefore it must have been the regular wash; that's not to say that someone might have been wearing them while they were hanging on the line and then they may have been "raptured" leaving the clothes on the line, actually I have not seen the neighbors for a while so it is quite possible, they were nice people and I think quite worthy of being raptured to heaven (is that what happens??? one is raptured to heaven???)....anywho my nap was excellent and I was well rested for an evening out at the coffeeshop to listen to a fine singer / songwriter who was not raptured and so provided a great evening of music.

I'll be damned..... 8)

I ordered a pizza and watched TV. Then I took a nap. Obviously, I took that whole "end of the world" thing very seriously. ;)

Packed up my gear, played four sets, got paid, drove home, trashed a plateful of Jeno's pizza rolls and a couple of bottles of Fosters, caught the latest installment of the euphoria pissing contest on this forum, then crashed.

The usual for a Saturday night......

hahaha...I literally laughed out loud on that one. Mel Gibson is such a jackass, it's rather hilarious. Oh well I guess it takes the attention of Hasselhoff for a while.
