I picked Hendrix from your list as he was the most innovative and inspired my love for great guitar playing. However I'm a fan of Clapton's work on the strat as well. I think it would have been a tie between the two. You can knock ole SRV off the list in my opinion, he didn't do anything to far from stealing endless Hendrix licks. KWS is doing the same thing only he's ripping off SRV's rip offs of Hendrix.

The Clap plays Fender, jk, I really never pay attention to clapton to notice anything except a strat, but everyone uses strats

I went with Eric Clapton, as he's been playing a Strat the longest of anyone on that list i believe.

do you know any other guitarists that can play anything like him

not to many guitarists can play nessun dorma (a pavarotti song)
