I haven't been playing slide for long, but I prefer glass. I'm not sure of the company, but my preference is the true wine bottle-neck slide. It looks awkward at first like it would get caught on the strings near the bottom but the weight is perfect for my hand. I play with my pinky but I've seen slide done a lot with the ring finger, I guess that would have an impact upon your slide choice also.

I've tried all kinds, but mostly use a Dunlop Glass slide these days. It seems to give a warmer, thicker tone and brings out the middle harmonics better.

Hello All,
Glass, I think it may be a dunlop.
I don't use it for any tunes,
I only goof around with it.
Cheers.
