This.

On a related note, saw CTE at the House Of Blues in Boston last Tuesday. Holy. S***. One of the best live acts I have ever seen, this band will go down as one of those bands that you HAD to see live.

Really? I'm not sure it is possible to dislike The Black Keys.

Like I said, I agree with him.... I don't really see what's so special about Black Keys....

pretty much, slow poppy garage rock blues and pixies/sonic youth mixed with sleezy zeppelin equals two killer bands

I like the Black Keys. I don't really like their singer, but just about any blues-rock sounds alright to me.

I don't really like Cage the Elephant though.

Another great CTE tune would be Aberdeen, off their new album.

Loved "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked"...liked "Aberdeen" ok...liked a couple of the live tracks.

Overall, I need to investigate more, but I'll give them a preliminary "thumbs up"...

I have tickets to see both of these bands at the end of June. CTE is opening for TBK. Sounds like I won't be disappointed.
