Hey Guys,
A local band, The Sheepdogs has made it into the finals of the choose the cover of Rolling Stone contest. I think Nevin may have posted this earlier, but now that they have made it to the finals, I felt that it needed one more round on the forum.
The band is from my hometown, and I used to work with the bass player, If you haven't checked it out or voted yet, please do so. These guys are old school classic rock. The artist they are up against is a little more mainstream pop. Give these authentic rockers a shot at the cover!

Its for the Aug 18 edition of Rolloing Stone. The winner plays on Jimmy Fallon. These guys didn't enter the contest themselves. I think their manager or someone in PR entered them without them knowing. So far its opened up alot of doors for them.

Too bad. Not everything is for everybody. Did you check out more than 1 tune? The singer kinda reminds me of Burton Cummings.
