i have plenty of amps with spring reverb, its just that my current fav doesnt have one.
i could use my delay for a very slight delay but then im out my delay for tone coloring otherwise.

yeah speaking of which which would give a distortion tone more "body" in your opinion? delay or reverb?

after reading about a few pedals in the lounge my interest peeked and i started looking for info and watching video online of various pedals that i stumbled across. I had no idea the massive MASSIVE world of pedals from the big names to the one offs that demand insane money. WOW... although i view most as interesting the list of pedals i am hoping to buy seems to keep growing. does anyone here make their own effect pedals? really cool stuff! i am a complete noob to the pedal world so it is quite fascinating to me. how many pedals does everyone own? how many more do you want to buy?

I've built my own computer but never my own pedals. I'm told this is a good place to start . . .

http://www.buildyourownclone.com/

I think there is another site but I can't remember the name.

i am going to buy a few that i have picked but i think i am going to try to build a Mosrite Fuzzrite Clone. They are so expensive and i am pretty good with constructing things so i should be able to make it for WAY less than they are selling for. the cheapest clone i found online was $95.

Forgot to list my pedals . . .

DOD Supra Distortion (late '80s/early '90s)
Boss Stereo Chorus
Boss Vibrato (loaned it out around 2003, never got it back)
DOD Digital Delay
Morley Pro Series Wah
Danelectro Tuna Melt Tremolo
MXR Dyna Comp
Line6 PODxt
Ibanez Tube Screamer
DigiTech Whammy
Danelectro Cool Cat Vibe (not bad for the money)
DeltaLab Stereo Chorus (not bad for the money)
Uni-Vibe Stereo Chorus
Guyatone "The Fuzz"
Devi Ever Vintage Fuzz Master
Devi Ever Torn's Peaker
AnalogMan Dark Peppermint Fuzz

I still want to add a higher-end Uni-Vibe clone (leaning toward the Wilson Haze), a Univox Superfuzz clone, probably a Black Cat, a Wattson or a 73 Effects SF, and maybe a phaser.

[quote="stratmansteve" DeltaLab Stereo Chorus [/quote]

delta lab, though owned by GC and on the lower budget, is often over looked pedals.
i agree when the poster said "not bad for the money". if i were on a budget for a pedalboard, i would start with a digitech bad monkey and build the rest around
the delta lab line.

I think it would be cool to have a JamMan Solo and a Fulltone OCD. Maybe a nice chorus pedal. It is just so expensive to buy all single pedals for each sound. I would get the few I'm picky about and use a multi effects for the rest. Line 6 has good all around sounds. I never like the overdrive of multi effect pedals for some reason. I use a RP3 now. Its older than dirt but has ok compressor, good phaser, and nice high gain. I could always use it as a dedicated volume or wah with eq if I wanted to.

buy them one at a time. before long you will have them.
new improved loopers are coming out so the older but very worthy models should be dropping in price soon.

Any thought's on the Blackstar range of pedals, or any of the valve powered pedals, anyone tried them out

Wow, I've never checked out the Blackstar pedals before. They are a tad pricey, edging into boutique territory. Doesn't matter if you love it and it's what you're looking for. Good luck and enjoy it!

I'm still on the hunt for my vibe pedal. Would like stereo, but it seems to be outta reach.
