We had a really good time last Monday night. Played at The Rio inside the Crown Theater. This is where Prince had his show when he was playing Vegas regularly. It really is nice inside.

Ps. Just a little tech info.
The guitar I'm using has grown on me lately. I bought a used Squier Esprit Masterbuilt a while back. It had some fret issues, a balance issue, wasn't too happy with the HB102 Duncan Designed pickups. I have since fixed all of those things, and I really am very happy with it. I only wish Squier had gone with a more solid tune-o system for this model. Even the cheaper Epiphones have a more solid bridge system. Might be the last mod I do on it. But not unless it really needs it. Other than that last issue, this is one of the best guitars I've ever felt. It feels like I'm playing an expensive guitar. Love it!!

I put the stock Gibson Les Paul pickups from my LP Studio in it. A lot of people actually like them better than Burstbuckers. They do seem to distort smoother when overdriven. I'm running through my Roland JC-50.

Thanks everyone. Yea, I'm really liking the tones coming out of the Esprit/ Roland combo. Kinda wish this video would show what it sounds like for the solos. But if you notice, I really don't pump the highs all that much.

Way Cool Jr, it is a big split going on. But we'd like to believe that we get a bigger pay here in Vegas as a result of having a big band. Big band= big sound= people wanting to hire you back. The casino gigs pay us very good.

Strato, we will be in the Bay area for a festival on the 29th of this month for the Cali Roots Festival in Monterey. So far that's as far north as we're going for now. But this Summer we DO plan on making our way through Northern Cal., Oregon, Washington. I'll let you know when that's going down ok.
