They did this at the AFC playoff game in Pgh. They scaned the stadium from the center of the field then you could go on there Steelers web site and zoom into where your seats were and pic yourself out anywhere. It was cool.

That stuffs been around for a while. It's kind of a contest between a handful of people. Storage is a huge problem with the original photograph. Cool stuff but I wouldn't want to print it. :lol:

I've read about guys who tried doing something similar with 11x14 film and printing the photos in airplane hangars using massive trays built from wood and pond lining. The emulsion was sprayed on the paper.

Thanks Nevin, that was pretty cool. They say on their site that if the whole image was printed it would cover 2 football fields. I guess that would be soccer fields?
