Have anybody seen or played one of these necks?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9uiBnM_AgE

The frets are bend and twisted to create better intonation
The video is in Danish(though Billy Cross is originally american and have a lot of american accent :P ) the camera is a bit screwed until about 20 seconds into the video
A quick summary of what he's saying:
He hates the look of it and would have had a nervous breakdown if he saw it while he was on acid back in 60's
He has never played a guitar with better intonation
You don't feel the difference when playing
The look is uncomfortable but that's the only issue

You know what I think every time I see one of these endless parade of better intonation things?

My guitar sounds fine. So does Joe Pass's guitar, Larry Carlton's guitar, and Howard Roberts's guitar.

There is no such thing as perfect intonation with a 12-tone system. Live with it.
