I think it depends on what you're looking to do with it. If you're looking to put new pickups in it, I go for the Korean made guitar. So far, in my experiences with Squiers, the Korean made necks have been better crafted than the Chinese ones.

If you want to just buy and play, I'd go for the CV Tele. The pickups are a better quality than the Korean made stuff. Be wary of the frets though. One of my CVs is already buzzing after minimal use.

Also want to point out that the Korean made guitar has a 6-saddle bridge. Most likely easier to intonate. If it were me making the decision, I'd personally go with the Korean made guitar. And I'd put better pickups in it.

Either way, you might want to protect yourself and ask the seller if the neck is straight, how much wear the frets have, and if it has any fret buzzing. That way, if it comes to you with any of those problems, you can return it. If you don't ask those questions, you are basically agreeing to the sale as it is.

he says that the guitar has been recently set up... i want to use this guitar to experiment with pickups but now that i think about it the strat may be better for that unless the tele magically has an hh routing
