Nice! Clapton has some nice tone there. It'd be sweet to have Cream re unite and do one last world tour.

I paid $5.50 each for seats in the tenth row - stage left to see Cream.

Of course that was back in 1968......

The Rolling Stones in December of '65 (same show where Keith Richards got the jolt of his life and an ambulance ride to the ER). Open seating, $3.25 a ticket.

A helluva show!

I can't remember what I paid to see the Allman Brothers way back before they were big...around '69.
It was in a small club in Nashville,The Exit/Inn,and the place was packed...no room left.
I talked to the guy in later years, who had owned it and knew them from their days in Nashville as the Allman Joys,he booked them and so many people showed up he had to lock the doors....he said he was in a fix because the Fire Marshall could have shut him down that night...it's a gig that was not well known to have happened nowadays in the internet age, where everybody thinks if it's on the net it's gospel...but the Brothers played to free crowds in parks on their days off....they played music to live their lifestyle.
I was young and under the influence at the time and remember some but not all of it. too young to have even been in the place legally.

I'm going to see Clapton tonight, as it happens. I don't want to admit how much the tickets cost! :?

Cheers - C
