Well after getting a new amp back in March, I decided to put feelers out to sell my BJ NOS. Well yesterday I ended up trading it for a Vox AC15C1. The thing is I was selling it because of space issues, now I have the Vox which is acually larger than the BJ NOS. What am I thinking? I just can't shake this sickness know as GAS. Is there any known cure? But, than again it is nice having something a little smaller then my Egnater head and 2x12 cab for portability. I'll post up pix a little later of the new amp.

Of course you're sick. It's GAS and it's dang near incurable.

Congrats on the new amp...I really like those VOX AC15 amps--they sound good and look cool. It's on the "One Of These Days" GAS List.

My GAS has lessened over the years; I don't know if it's maturity or something else, but the importance and length of my internal "wish list" has lessened...I don't know, maybe I'm just more content.

Why do you think I should have kept it? Both were under 1 yr old, comparable price, and it does have great sound. Similar to the BJ, yet just that little bit more of a Brit sound IMO.

well for 1 you blew your whole goal and got a bigger amp.
2, the blues jr is a fender amp.
3, a good radail brit pedal would have brought you just about
any brit tone you want, plus you would have still had the fender tone
if you wanted it.

i like vox amps, but in this case i would have kept the fender.

Yeah, I can see what your saying, thanks for the input. It seems to be one of those situations of, Am I Nuts? With a little bit of, And Now For Something Completely Different.
Now all I have to do is find somewhere to tuck it away if I am using my Egnater, I see an addition needing to be built onto the house. Good thing I work construction.

The AC15 is a great choice for an amp and the AC15 or 30 is about the only amp that I'd consider replacing my Blues Jr. with, you just can't beat the Vox sound.

Although I love the Fender sound (and will never ever ever part with my Vibroverb. Ever.), lately the sound in my head has been more akin to a Vox AC15. I've had the opportunity to play through a couple of the model you just bought (AC15C1 or AC15CC1 ?) and each time I walked away with stronger GAS. Great tone, great overdrive and great tremolo.

If I find one cheap (possibly used), I'll definitely get it; right now a electrified metal-bodied resonator is higher on the list, but I'll probably buckle if I find one within the price range to where I could just drop cash.

Well after a couple days with this one, I must say I like it more then my Blues Jr. Great tone in these Vox's.

If you can swing one I'd say go for it. Nice cleans, and it breaks up nicely.

I think you made a nice call. I eventually parted with my BJ NOS, as well. If the AC15 holds more for you then that's all that counts.
