Hey!!
So I'm working on assembling a couple pedals to make myself a board. They (hopefully) will be as follows: MXR dyna comp, TC electronic poly tuner, boss dn-2 dyna drive, boss ch chorus of some sort and my fender fuzz-wah. Anyways, I was wondering how i could power all the pedals at the same time, other than just using batteries. I was hoping to not have 5 different ac adapters... are there any that have multiple outputs?
Thanks!

check your local music store, or go online to sweetwater-musicians friend-same day music.
they have what you are looking for. there are one spot daisy chains, power bricks and everything inbetween.

just make sure of the following:

there are enough outlets for all of your pedals

you have the proper voltage. if you use pedals that have different needs such as some 9 volt, and some 12 volt a brick with different outputs is what you need

make sure you have enough output - usually in milliamps - to power your pedals, and a little extra in case you need to add more pedals.

good luck

I power everything with this......

I need the 18VDC tap for my Fulltone OCD -- everything else (except for my AC-powered flanger) uses 9V.

amen. ive had enough junk in my days. i refuse to buy anything that is known to be junk
or a junk manufacture. no plastic crap either. dunlop makes some rugged gear.
i know some folks dont like them but ive never had an issue with their stuff. im starting to like a lot of their pedals too.

Currently using a one spot for all of my pedals and it works great. Needed an adapter for my Modeling pedal, but the adapters are easy to get, and they have a 9v adapter for pedals that don't have a wired plug.

+1 The One Spot works great for me unless like Arjay say and you need an 18 volt tap. I even use the One Spot with my vintage pedals with no problem. If you check their site, they have a list of pedals it won't work with. Mine was thirty some bucks and came with a bunch of adapters and covers for unused connectors.

Hi Sklivas: I use this. Not cheap, but it does everything. No need to ever look at another power supply. It comes with all the cables you will need too:

Or if you need 18v as well then there is the T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon model. More info - here:

Everything you need to know.

Cheers - C

PS: what's fascinating about that photo is that the unit is visibly not plugged in - and yet the LED is glowing. Spooky.

Thanks for all the great tips guys!! I think I may have found a solution: I bought the polytuner today, and found out that it has a 9 volt dc *out* as well as a dc in... the manual says it can power other pedals with a daisy chain, provided they don't excede 2 amps in current draw... the other pedals i plan to get/already have draw 10, 22, 36 and 1.6 mA... This means i should be able to hook up basically any 9v power supply to the polytuner (power in outlet) and then a daisy chain to power the rest of the pedals (through the 9V, up-to 2 amps power out outlet), correct?
