For some reason I got up this morning with a 2 song earworm-Ray Parker Jr.'s"The Other Woman" and Jermaine Jackson's"Dynamite".I haven't heard either song in years yet I woke up this morning with them going through my head so I went to CD Universe website and ordered both of their greatest hits CDs for $23 delivered all the way from the U.S. to my door.
I've always loved Ray Parker Jr. and Raydio and always thought that Jermaine was the best talent of the whole family-head and shoulders over Michael et al.Next on my list is a pile of James Brown and Joe Tex-Joe has got to be one of the funkiest R&B/Soul guys ever.

I have that Ray Parker one (on vinyl) somewhere. I dvr'd the Stax
Anniversary Concert on the HD Network last night, but haven't watched
it yet. I like Jamerson and The Funk Brothers/Motown, but always thought
that the Stax sound was a little grittier and funky.
