Hi,
I have one problem. This year a 5-6 months ago I bought fender stratocaster, and few days ago I was looking for my warranty. I have all the papers that I got when I left the shop after I purchased guitar, but there is no paper that says warranty so Im not sure that I got one. So can some say to me how does warranty looks, maybe I have one but don't know that this is warranty. And If they didn't give me warranty paper or I lost it what can i do, is there any way to retrieve it?

Your receipt will suffice to satisfy the terms of proving you are the original purchaser, as long as it has the guitar's serial number on it. There usually is a warranty card that you would have to fill out and return to Fender within 10 or 15 days. If you didn't get one, no big deal :D You can register the product on this website too. Anyways, the terms and conditions of the warranty used to be printed in the back of the Fender Owner's Manual ;)

I think Fender has done away with warranty cards. Your receipt and online registration, I think it's the new norm.

Last time I bought a new Fender anything there was link provided to register the product.

Well, welcome to the forum and beam me up Scotty! Ok what I'd suggest is go to the SQUIER section of the Fender Forum, just click BOARD INDEX and then scroll down to SQUIER BY FENDER and then click on SQUIER BASS GUITARS. Once in the Squier Bass Forum start a new post with DATING HELP in the subject and post the serial. Someone will get back to you in a flash. ENERGIZE!

There is even a link to the warranty itself on that thread.
