Good Morning Friends,

Well it is a cloudy cold morning with no signs of improvement predicted (springtime is starting very slowly in my part of the globe)...but I have coffee on, Luther on the player and yes, you guessed it, a day planned with the Telecasters, the Blues Jr. and your truly. Sounds like a match made in heaven doesn't it?

I hope you are all doing well and that your fingers are burning up the fretboard....... 8)

Have a great day everyone!!!!

Beaubs

Hey there Beaubs!

Where as yesterday was a perfect mid-70's, blue sky day. Today is a solid overcast cool day so far! Been that way for the past couple of weeks! One or two days nice..the rest cloudy and cool or rain. Oh well!

Have some Dominic Miller playing while I check out the forum and answer email.
My wife is going to a wedding shower later, leaving me with an empty house with guitars and amps...hmmmm, wonder what I could do....

Enjoy the weekend folks!

Good morning to all. Temps are their usual 87º here in South Florida...I do have a faint recollection of a spring a month or two ago.

Busy day for me...keeping an eye out on my sale post over at TGP and other boards (my gear for Porsche post). The first to go was the Custom Shop Tele, gotta pack that one up today for shipping, and thanks to our own beloved Nikininja, the Les Paul Standard Faded will be traveling with me across the pond in July, to be turned over to him in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace and attended by Prince William and his blushing new bride, Kate. Lots of interest in the CIJ Tele and the 1971Marshall 50w Tremolo, so hopefully those will be next.

Cleaning to do today...the boy is making his triumphant return to Florida on Tuesday, having successfully finished his junior year at Temple U in Philadelphia and taking 33 credits in the process...he was carrying 18 this past term. He of course left his bathroom a mess when he left after his winter break, and there is still some stuff in the fridge from back then (hey, I'm a bachelor, what do you expect???). At least he made his bed.

And finally, my gf is coming over this evening, with "The Fighter" on DVD to be watched, though I must admit that we don't often get through a complete film.............

Have a great day, y'all(<-----Not bad for a New Yorker)

G'Day Beaubs and other forumites.I'm not long in from getting my tractor up and running after all winter and just finished giving the lawn it's first mowing of the year.Although it's been cold all spring the temps have stayed above freezing and consequently the grass got a head start and this is the earliest that I've ever mowed the lawn.
Next on the agenda is to prepare one of my famous baked hams for company we're having tonight.First I boil the ham for about 2 1/2 hours in orange juice and cloves and then I bake it with a glaze of brown sugar, mustard, cloves, pineapplejuice and orange zest.
