yeah im about 6 month in on my luther journey too.
if you like luther, you really need to check out magic sam
too. that guy is dang good. rumor has it that for most of
his gigging career he didnt own a guitar, that he just barrowed
one from whomever he could at the gigs. i dont know how
true that it but ive rarely seen a pic of him holding the same
guitar twice.

Magic Sam is great!
Have you listened to Ronnie Earl? Big Magic Sam devotee...
Johnny "Guitar" Watson? What a style of singing and playing this guy had...

What I do while @ work is to use Pandora on my computer and pick a guitar player and listen to what Pandora suggests on top of the player I want to listen to. You get to hear a lot of folks you never knew of or just barely heard of and it doesn't cost you a dime. Well until you start buying the CDs!

I am huge Ronnie Earl fan. He is another master of the Stratocaster. I have him on at the Beaubs house all of the time......by the way the Beaubs family continues getting a blues education even though they don't know it 8) .

Also, I too have, and continue to get an excellent education from our fine Forum Members and to that end I am very greatful....
