The JagStang.
With all it's faults and imperfections.
It needs doing.

Pissed on my bonfire there mate.

But i agree, it was crap compared to what it could have been, but we'll never know what could have been so i dunno, i'd be happy just to have one at all, to please my Nirvana collector inside.

Yeah i've spotted a few on eBay from time to time, but there'll always be one somewhere up for sale when i decide to go for it.

Anyway, i'd like to discuss this further but i'm about to fall asleep on my keyboard, it's 3am over here.
I'm sure i'll think of another guitar soon enough to add to the list.

I dug the $@!& out of the Cyclone and the Toronado.

The Starcaster as mentioned. A late 60s era Jaguar, with the Block inlays or an early 70s jag with the maple fingerboard with black blocks.

I'd like to see the Fender Coronado and Starcaster reissued as well as a spot on reissue of the L-Series Strats especially with regard to the sound and neck feel-they were in my opinion the best of the Strats.Regarding ther Vox Teardrop guitars and Phantoms for that matter:I believe that Vox let the copyrights for the body styles lapse and they were reapplied for and bought by Phantom guitars in the U.S. http://www.phantomguitars.com/ I'd also like to see a reissue of the Coral electric sitar I know that Jerry Jones was making reissues but they were a bit pricey and I don't know if he's still making them.BTW I have 3 vintage Voxes-A Phantom XII,A Mk. VI Acoustic Teardrop and an Astro IV Model 273 Violin Bass with fuzz,bass-treble boost and a G-tuner. The old Voxes had great single coil pups and skinny necks that were pure comfort to play.

I would love to see the Starcaster re-issued, one of my favourite guitars, and one I would love to own at some point if I could afford it.

RE Phantom Guitars:Phantom has just released the Phantele which as the name suggests is a Phantom style pentagon body with a Tele like pickup and hardware layout-a pretty radical idea.Check it out here: http://www.phantomguitars.com/ .

I'll join the choir asking for a reissue of the Starcaster.

I wish I had bought one when they out in the '70s.

I also likee the band Starcastle.

I've always liked the fender toronado and starcaster. Ibanez talman was pretty cool. also, the ibanez jet king (even though I've never played one).

gotta ask... i always pine for the prodigy II. were they not the guitar i dreamed they would be? anyone ever played on or know what their faults were? I saw a picture of a Blue Prodigy II in a guitar book and thought it was one of the most beautiful guitars i ever saw (this was a few years ago). so were they not that great? just curious...
