Here you all go... I plugged a mic into my laptop, and using Cool Edit Pro, I made a simple recorded .wav file, then converted it to .mp3 and saved it on a free webhosting site (no viruses, no spam, no popups, etc...)

Guitar: '95 Fender Strat, toggle switch - 4th position.
Amp: Fender Frontman 65R, clean channel.
Effects: Digitech RP7 Valve, clean chorus.

This is a short instrumental going from Em to C:
00:00 - 00:27 Intro/arpeggio: Em(sus7) {pull off pinky, B string, 3rd fret} / CMaj7(sus9) {again, pull off pinky, B string, 3rd fret}, with a B7th thrown in for a turnaround.
00:27 - 00:30 Let a CMaj7 ring out...
00:30 - 00:46 Verse(?) Switch to G to Em, then for a turnaround, play C, C/B, Am, Am/G, and back to the Em to C rhthym.
00:50 - to END Anyone care to play with a guitar solo here? I'm just playing a simple 4/4 tempo Em to C rhthym over and over and over....

Thanks... It's just a slow ballad that I've been kicking around for a while, but never did anything with.

I'm a songwriter, I read/write/compose sheet music. I'm not a lyricist. Anytime I try to write lyrics, I toss them out because they always end up sounding stupid.

Anyway, this is what I have so far as perhaps a chorus or maybe a "hook" in the song starting at 00:30 - 00:46 when it switches to G.

G....................Em
I'll do anything for you
G............................Em
Whatever you want me to do
..........C...............................
Yeah, yeah, like a puppet on a string
C..C/B..Am..Am/G..Em
I'll do anything for you

If anyone wants to take this and run with it, by all means go for it. Just mention me in the liner notes of your first CD! 8)

Like I said, I'm horrible at writing lyrics. I don't have any lyrics, verses, or even a theme to this song that I've been kicking around. Perhaps you could do something with it!
