mclmk8d you present a tuff choice, weekend toy that will put a huge grin on your face or guitars and amps that can talk to your soul...hmmm tuff indeed. I am greedy I went for both...

Ah yes the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. Go for it! Just remember to have a maintenance fund. It helps if your handy with a wrench. It took me one $250 oil change on my Boxster to learn how to do it yourself. Just spent $85 for routine maintenance items that im sure would cost $500+ at a dealers. Cars and guitars enjoy!

I'd trade six strings for a flat six any day of the week. Good luck, hope you find a good deal on a great Porsche. If there is such a thing as a deal on a Porsche ^^

I had an early 70's 911 years ago. It was a great car. However, I am not a mechanic so I had to rely on local repair folks. If you drive the car, it needs regular attention. The high level engineering comes with a price. Repairs are costly. Later in life this may not be a problem but it was hard as a young person. Enjoy but be prepared.
