Sorry I have to exclaim that I am so stinking sick of rain that I'm going buggy. What is this? Vietnam? Monsoons? This is the coldest ,wettest Spring ever recorded here where I live since the 1890's when they started recording weather. Can't cut the grass- it's too wet so now it's over a foot tall. Can't put the top down and cruise in the Jeep- really not much to do but vedge in the house and go cabin fever on it.We had a tornado go by the other week. That was not good. At least it's not freezing cold. I want to drive wherever the Sun is out and just stand outside for about 10 hours. Here comes the Sun? NO!!! I think I'll kill if I hear that song. It's supposed to rain all next week too. We have had maybe 5 sunny days in 2 months and that's a stretch-- Okay I'm done venting-- thanks for listening. ... help....

Don't feel bad, here in Newfoundland we are having the worst spring in decades. We literally haven't had 2 fine days together since spring arrived and it's often just as cold as it was in February. On the few occasions we have a fine day it is proceeded and followed by a rotten one. Here we only have 3 seasons-winter,summer and misery.

sae goes over down under. usually, in VC, its bone dry and 40 C, bushfires are always starting etc. one time a small town of about 800 actually had to evacuate cause they had no water. this year, it was constantly pouring down, humid as the tropics. my dad says he's never lived through a summer like it.

We're in a severe drought down here, and this is usually the beginning of the wettest part of the year. I think the rain got lost.

Same situation in South Florida. According to the Weather Channel our area has received .01 inches of rain in the first 8 days of May. There are bans on outdoor burning because everything is as dry as tinder. And we're just a few weeks away from my favorite time of the year -- Hurricane Season -- but I just want rain not wind.

We haven't seen a good soaking rain in a long time.

If any of you are in the 'tornado alley' area, be safe and don't wait too
long to get your family down in your hidey holes!

Those twisters in Joplin were something fierce!!!

Im wondering that if the Earth moved/tilted 10 inches off it's axis during the Japan earthquake ---------then may that have something to do with the Jet Stream being farther to the west over the middle of the US? Or is the change in the JS moving that far over a sign of some other event ?

I have always believed that the powers that be will not disclose certain info to the public. I think if there was an impending event from whatever situation created naturally or not- there would be a big lapse of time before we would find out. aka Government Military developement. You know they have stuff 20 years ahead of where we are now--they're working on it I'm sure. I hope (maybe).

There's a saying that goes "every Texas drought ends in a flood". The same is probably true for you guys. Our dry spells usually end with a tropical storm or a hurricane.
