Hi ralf: no it isn't. They come up all the time on Ebay.

Here's a nice 1984 e-series Japanese "Squier by Fender" in Lake Placid Blue - more than you want to pay, but it's a good price for a good guitar:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Squier-e-S ... 23107397de

Hmmm. That's the only LPB one I'm seeing right this second, but keep your eyes open - they come along frequently. You're checking Ebay across Europe, right? Not just within Portugal? No import taxes within the EU.

...Or just buy a new CV, why not? Most UK sellers will take payment in Euros and ship across the EU, just for example:

http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Ba ... d-Blue/AT2

And a little bird tells me Thomann in Germany are shifting more stock than ever all over the continent. Check 'em out.

Classic Vibe Squiers are great! Don't be without yours for one minute longer.

Good luck - C

you think it's worth putting on a cv 50? i think it's gonna sound good i've been willing to try it out on a guitar with a maple board cause i saw a youtube vid where this guy got an awesome tone with it... still i feel conflicted about drilling holes on such a good guitar

screw it, drill that dam thing.
find you a H/S/S and go.
the JB is a killer rock pickup. very controlable. seymour did a fantastic job with that pup.
i like the JB jr as well, maybe even better i dont know. i know that the JR is in my #1 and its there to stay. there nothing even close out there that would make me want to pull it out.
