He lives over in Nogales and I've heard him play live a number of times. For those who can master the intricacies, it's a very versatile instrument.

i agree arjay. its got a very nice and pleasent tone coming from it.
i wonder what it would be like if oh derek trucks got ahold of it lol.
slide guitar to a whole new level.

That is called the Chapman Stick, I believe ( if memory serves me correctly it dates back to late 70's early 80's. )

Is it Mike Chapman who developed it...?
It is as groundbreaking as Steinberger's instruments were.
