if we walked right in there as everybody else reports, if, there shouldnt have been any fog of anything.
like i said earlier, as we wrap things up there killing OBL is our way of closing the door behind us.

I detest war in all it's forms -- it represents a total failure of diplomacy and the western preference to respectfully negotiate in good faith with our adversaries.

That said, when this failure occurs, nothing is to be gained by demonstrating weakness to a mortal nemesis.

Thus, do we want to win or merely feel good about losing?

I look at it as the bigger version of "no hitting below the belt".... as in, a similar "principal" that has absolutely no basis and only serves to screw one over. It's war. The idea of there being any honor in it is a complete contradiction. It is the antithesis of respect and fair play.

He was no Benito Mussolini such that he would have been mutilated in the streets and then hung up to dry. This was a borderline prophet/messiah for a radicalized segment of Islam. Giving him to the people would have put him on the 79 Virgins Welcome Wagon. Best done as was done. Time to move on.

Yes, that is a real license plate I had on a vehicle 30 years ago. I have two of them! Nicely reliced. They make for great decorations in my music room.

I am a Cheesehead, though I don't live anywhere near Cheeseland now.
