I have an old Canon Canonette 35mm that I usethat takes great pix as well as an Olympus FE20 digital camera. Wednesday I bought a funky little Bell keychain digital camera to keep in the glove compartment in case of accidents or if I come upon something interesting while driving. It was only $10 on sale and regular $40 but it can hold over 200 pix in low resolution before it has to be downloaded or cleared.

Use an entry level slr, an Olympus E520 bought in 2008

Suits most of what i need a camera for, cant really justify spending big bucks for the rest, pair of binoculars suffice ! :)

Mostly a digitalCanon EOS 40D with a 28-135mm zoom lens and a 72mm UV protector filter.

I also occasionally use my I-phone or a pocket Olympus but prefer the Canon for obvious reasons..

I have always been a Kodak man, ever since I bought my first digital in 1998-9, a .9 MP monster for $895. I was doing high volume business on eBay back then and needed a digital for online pics.

My current Kodak is a really nice 14 MP with 26X optical zoom, 2.5" rear screen and the option of using the screen or through-lens viewer for picture taking. Lots of bells and whistles, but less than $300 at Sam's Club.

I always give the wife my previous digital wonder.

I love my Olympus E-520 and think it was one of the best values out there a couple of years ago. The available lens options are super quality.

I use a Nikon Coolpix with the entire gamut of accessories and plenty of extra lights, diffusers, reflectors, etc. I got into photography strictly as an adjunct to my other hobby, building scale models and authoring magazine articles about them......

This model was photographed on a purpose-built backdrop using a tripod and a remote-shutter release to eliminate any possibility of vibration at the moment of exposure. A tripod is also an excellent method of controlling how the shot is framed and optimizing the depth-of-field.

For SLR duty I have the original Olympus E500, which model was later upgraded and renamed E520, mentioned above. I have three lenses for this camera, short zoom, long zoom and a macro. For quick shots with a compact I have gone through several models but have settled on the Lumix TZ5 as a great all around compact. Photoshop Elements for cropping, correcting, etc.

I still have a Canon T70 I bought in 1989. These days I use a Canon Powershot G5 that I got for my 40th birthday (2003 - time flies!)

I use my wife's Nikon D60 or D5000, whichever is handy. She has several lenses but I always use the smallest one, With the bigger ones, I have to stand almost in the neighbors yard to take a picture! I guess I should probably learn how to use them better....

Canon S51S, it's bigger than a compact and smaller than an slr, takes great photos and runs on AA batteries. The only accessory I bought for it is the Canon Speedlight 270EX which also uses AA batteries. Put them together and you get a true PHD camera ( press here dummie ) that delivers.

I have a 14mp Kodak Easy Share point and shoot that's good for everyday photos. But if I want to take some real hq pics, I'll borrow my mom's Canon Rebel. That thing is top notch, and it records HD video.

RJ, that is damn impressive. Is that an upgrade of the models we built as kids? Except yours now looks real. Is it alright if I copy it for commercial use? :P

Is your camera big like an SLR? What do you write about them? Is my quota of questions used up?

Normal use: an 8MP Canon SX100IS.
Abby-normal use, my 1969 Nikon FTn and my 1984 Nikon F3; I've had both since new.
