Wow! I remember the Cello series, but was never lucky enough to listen to them. These days I'm satisfied with a Pioneer Elite with ICE amps--if anybody actually lets me use them..."Dad, we're using the PS3!"..."Honey, I'm watching a movie..."

(Dad slinks back to his computer to listen via headphones to something on iTunes...)

I had the most exclusive High End Hi Fi System:
Cello Palette, Cello amps , Cello pre-amp from The Man Himself: Mark Levinson
+ all related stuff of the same level from the 80's.
Just sold them (at an even higher price than I bought them) as nobody can now make equipments of such quality. (military grade).
I sold them because of earing problems which prevented me from appreciating te State Of The Art in Hi-FI
A pity
Before I had Mc Intosh which ruled in the 60's
But I understand that young people are not so much interested; MP3 seems enough for their earing capabilities...

Salut Alain

And which speakers were/are you using? Hearing problems ... too bad. Can't be cured?

Cheers

David

Leedh Aura which could be used in active or passive mode; quite heavy as they were made in synthetic concrete !
Played too loud when I was part of a rock band, so now I have some tinnitus on high frequencies.
