On this day in 1975 the world lost another great singer/songwriter who never lived to realize his full potential.Pete Hamm of Badfinger commited suicide,he was an incredible singer/songwriter and even penned the fabulous Without You that most people took for granted that Harry Nilsson wrote.8 years later Tom Evans who co-wrote Without You and many of their other hits hanged himself.It's sad that people who are capable of writing beautiful music that can bring so much joy to others can lead such tortured lives themselves.

Very, very sad, indeed. He was super talented. It just shows that fame, money and all that, means nothing. I cannot understand why such talents end in tragedy !
