Has anyone seen any of these recently?

It's a Santa Rosa Mini Strat that I bought for my son about 20 years ago. This one was
surf green, with a built in small watt amp and speaker. It stayed in tune fairly well and I don't know why I ever let it go. (seller's remorse!) :(

It appears that they only make small acoustics now...?

You could also bypass the internal amp and plug into anything you wanted to.

I found that one in a small shop while on the road
in the S. Carolina area. The owner tried to tell me it
was made by Fender's Santa Rosa plant in Japan.

It was a cool mini guitar that stayed in tune fairly well
with some nice birdseye maple/flame on the neck.

hey some folks will try to attach names and histories to any thing they sell or are trying to sell i should say. i found a fender amp like that back in the summer at a flea market.
i dont really remember which amp it was. the price was a little steap so i broke out in bargining mode. the guy had this huge story to tell about the amp and tons of
matter of facts too. i didnt need it nor was i gonna pay the asking price. i just told him that the amp had to much history, that i couldnt afford the added value of its history, and that i felt bad to even trying to buy it, that he should probably keep it cause i was sure he would regret the sale afterwards.

he should have read a lot into what i was telling him by that answer.
( lower the price, shut up, and dont add the long winded BS story to the amp)

I paid $65 for the guitar (new) in '91 and sold it for about twice that
to a guy that has a major recording contract now.
