Good morning everyone........

A bit cloudy this morning and I am starting to miss the sun. Hopefully it will warm my face more sooner than later. I played in the Good Friday Service last night and one of the tunes was an old gospel spiritual by Leadbelly "They Hung Him on a Cross". Got to hammer out a few licks and it sounded great.

I have some family stuff going on today and then time to pull out the G & L and the Tele and rip it up.

I hope you all have a great day and for you churchgoers out ther Happy Easter - for those who are not, have a great weekend and keep bending those strings!!!!

Beaubs

Good morning everyone!

It looks like it's going to be a nice day in SW Oklahoma. I can relax after a long week of work.

Time to break out a Telecaster!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

...borrowed a Luther Allison disc from a friend a few weeks ago, I had a hard time giving it back! What a great guitarist.

Excellent weather at these heights; clear sunny weather and + 16 C. It is a lot here by this time of year.

So here is everything allllllright!

Good morning Fenderites, and a Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. As for me, I'm sick of matzoh! It's like the Spam song from Monty Python; how many ways can you eat cardboard?
Spending some time checking out Realtor.com and Condos.com...looking for a place to buy as prices are still somewhat low here in South Florida.
Have a good day, everyone.

Having a beautiful weekend, working this evening but made up for it by spending the day with the Premier League streaming on the laptop whilst playing guitar on my scaffolding at the end of the garden in the sun...perfect.

Now after a couple of weeks learning chords, I've realised why teachers always want to drill them into you

I used to struggle with the concept of some songs how the player could move his fretting fingers so quickly to play certain things, now I have realised that it was because he was just playing notes from a chord so that hand didn't actually have to move at all  I think I'm finally starting to understand this music malarky a little bit.

Oh and BBQ before work tomorrow, after another 15mile bike ride to try rehab my ankle injury.

All is well.

Mornin' all,
Happy Easter-Over. :) Gray, rainy and generally a second pot of coffee day. Mrs.E has recruited me to assist in the kitchen today. Getting ready to feed the gang tomorrow.
Guess I'll try to get some guitar time tonight after supper.
Thanks for the heads up on Luther Allison, he has made the "Yellow Pad of Inquiry".
